Chelsea Ryan, Yr 10 Student, Manor Foundation Business Enterprise and Sports College
Chelsea is currently studying on the Sandwell Engineering Diploma course. Speaking at Menzies City Learning Centre, where she and her classmates were benefiting from the CLC's cutting-edge IT resources,
Chelsea said,"The most important reason I chose this course is because when I leave school I'm hoping to join the Royal Navy as an electrical engineer. The Diploma in Engineering course will give me an understanding of the wide range of different types of engineering, for example....chemical engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and mechanical. I also picked this course as an option because I wanted to prove to my friends, family and the other lads on this course that engineering isnt a male job"
